6th Grade required Summer Reading
All 6th grade students must read City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau.

Students then choose 1 non-fiction novel and 1 fiction novel from the summer reading list below.  For each novel, students will write 5 journal entries and submit these on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. 

Students are encouraged to read more than 3 books from this list if they choose!

If you don’t know your Lexile Level, read between the 975-1100 Lexile Range.
